Erin Suurkoivu was raised in Northern Ontario, and has lived in Ottawa and Vancouver. She has been writing since a young age. Her first collection of poetry, The Honey in the Lion & Other Poems, is forthcoming (Lulu, 2012). She currently lives on Vancouver Island.
