Steve Meador has three books of poetry published, the full-length Throwing Percy from the Cherry Tree, and two chapbooks, A Good Sharp Knife and Pack Your Bags. His work appears regularly in print and online journals, resulting in numerous nominations for awards. However, as he has yet to see his name at or near the top of any list, he continues to sell homes for a living.

Steve Meador's book Throwing Percy from the Cherry Tree, released by D-N Publishing in 2008, was an entrant for a National Book Award and a Pulitzer Prize for poetry. He has been widely published, resulting in several Pushcart nominations. Recent work appears in Prism Review, Two Hawks Quarterly, Quicksilver, Hobble Creek Review and many others. Pudding House released two of his chapbooks in 2007.
