Shelly Bryant splits her time between Singapore and Shanghai, sometimes teaching English literature and sometimes studying Chinese language. She loves to read and write, and is an avid cyclist and traveler.

Shelly's first collection of poetry, Cyborg Chimera, was published by Sam's Dot Publishing in October 2009. The following month, a collection of designer artpieces built around 30 of her haiku were launched by decollection in Shanghai.
