Author Biography
David Alpaugh
David Alpaugh holds degrees from Rutgers University and the University of California, Berkeley where he was a Woodrow Wilson and Ford Foundation Fellow. His first collection of poetry, Counterpoint, won the Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize from Story Line Press. Journals that have published his poems and essays include Able Muse, Chronicle of Higher Education, Evergreen Review, The Formalist, Light, Mudlark, Poetry, Poets & Writers, Rattle, Scene4, Wisconsin Review, Your Daily Poem, and Zyzzyva. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where he has been a featured reader more than 100 times, as well as a finalist for Poet Laureate of California. |
