Joseph Josephides was born in Cyprus in 1948. He has a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a B.A. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Statistical Economics (Distinction Excellent). He wrote theatre, books and articles in Economics, EU affairs, mathematics. He published 3 Collections of Poems Some of them were translated in many languages, musically composed, presented in Anthologies, Web Sites, Conferences on EU Literature. He translated medieval Chinese poetry, tourkish-cypriot and nombelist poets (P.Neruda et.al). For the society and the poet himself, good poetry is like other great values such as love and wisdom; each one in their own way, they put the foundation for spiritual prosperity and hope as well as for self esteem; now and for ever.
